PURPOSE:To clarify a recording time and to record for long period by using a VTR as a recording means, recording the content of telephone conversation on a sound track and also by recording an image that displays a time on an image track. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming at either one of telephone circuits, for example, a circuit connected to a terminal INTEL1 is recognized and a conversation with an operator is conducted, a level sensor 102 is operated and a pose off circuit 104 is operated. Along with this, the operation of a pose on circuit is terminated and a pose that is performed in a recording state driving a relay RY by a relay driving circuit 108 is released. Thereby, VTR1 commences a sound recording/picture recording operation and the content of the conversation is recorded on the sound track and the image which displays the date and time that is transferred from a video timer VIT is recorded on the image track. After the completion of the conversation, and when there is not signal within a time set by an end delay 103, the pose off circuit 104 is operated and the VTR1 goes into a pose state again. Therefore, when the recorded content of the conversion is reproduced, it is very useful to find the time easily.
