PURPOSE:To eliminate frequent ON and OFF operation of a compressor by controlling the compressor with the temperature of the air blown-off to a room which is determined on the sum of heating loads for rooms when supplying cool or warm air form a heat pump to the rooms. CONSTITUTION:Cool or warm air from a heat pump 18 is sent to each room 1 via ducts 6 and 7. A heating load measuring means 19 calculates the heat load from the difference of the temperature set up by a thermostat 14 from the present room temperature, and from the calculated temperature difference the damper opening is controlled by determining it by means of a damper con trol value determining means 20. After this, the pressure and temperature in the ducts are detected, and the state of operation is measured by the detection signal. From the results of measurement given by a state-of-operation measuring means 22 and a heating lead measuring means 19 the capability of a compressor is determined and controlled, and the temperature of the blown-out air for each room is thereby determined by the sum of heat loads for all the rooms, and the capability of the compressor is controlled so as to maintain a constant temperature in the room.
