PURPOSE:To decrease malfunction and to prolong a remote control distance by providing a light emitting element lighted by switching of a switch and a photodetector generating a trigger signal receiving the light of the light emitting element at a trigger generating section. CONSTITUTION:A switch 7 and a slave set connection terminal 8 are connected to the trigger signal generating section 4, and when the switch 7 is closed or a slave device switch 9 connected to the terminal 8 is closed, a voltage is fed to the light emitting element comprising a light emitting diode of a photocoupler 10 to light the element 11. The photodetector 12 made of CdS of the photocoupler 10 receives the light from the element 11 to generate a trigger signal, which is fed to a gate of the thyristor 3. The thyristor 3 whose gate terminal receives the trigger signal is conductive and a load 2 connected to an AC power 1 via the thyristor 3 is activated. Even when noise is produced to the slave set wiring for remote control, most of the noise is eliminated by the photocoupler, the malfunction due to noise is decreased. Even when the length of wires for the slave device switch is increased, the malfunction due to noise is not increased and remote control is attained.
