PURPOSE:To obtain a reactive oligomer with storage stability for a long period, capable of giving cured products of high weatherability, modulus and heat resistance, by incorporating specific nitrogen-contg. compound in a reactive oligomer derived from ring opening polymerization, under specified condition, of a specific monomer such as glycidyl methacrylate. CONSTITUTION:A monomer of formula (R and R' are each H or CH3) (e.g., glycidyl methacrylate, glycidyl acrylate) is subjected to ring opening polymerization, in the presence of 54n100mol%, based on said monomer, of a monoalcohol compound (e.g., methanol, ethanol), using 0.1-10mol%, based on the monomer, of a cationic polymerization catalyst (e.g., boron trifluoride), to produce a radically curable reactive oligomer. This oligomer is then incorporated with 10-500 (pref. 50-200)mol%, based on said cathionic polymerization catalyst, of a nitrogen-contg. compound having unsaturated double bond (e.g., ammonia t- butylamine), thus obtaining the objective reactive oligomer.
