In espagnolette fastenings without a panic function, which are provided on the standing wing (1) of two-wing doors, the espagnolettes (2) are under the effect of a spring (11), seeking to press them into the extended position, and of a blocking device (12) which, with the wing (1) opened, hold the espagnolettes (2) in their retracted position, but during the closing of the wing (1) release them for their extension movement, in which they move with their outer ends in closing holes arranged on the doorframe at the top and bottom and thereby lock the standing wing (1). To prevent an unauthorised pushing open of doors (1) equipped with such espagnolette fastenings as a result of an unpermitted retraction of the espagnolettes (2), even when the gangway wings are properly closed, in their extended position the espagnolettes (2) are to be closed by means of a key-actuable lock (16) and a blocking member (for example, 18) actuable thereby and are to be released only by the actuation of the latter by a key.
