PURPOSE:To provide the titled molded article having a layer composed of a hardened organic silicon polymer containing a specific spirooxazine compound, having excellent dimming proprty, abrasion resistance, heat resistance, dyeability, chemical resistance, light resistance, etc., and useful as optical lens, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective molded article can be produced by (1) mixing (A) the compound of formula (R<1>, R<3> and R<4> are 1-6C alkyl, aryl, etc.; R<2> is halogen, NO2, etc; a, c and d are 0-2; b is 0-5) {e.g. 1-benzyl-3,3- dimethylspiro[indolino-2,2'-[3H]naphtho[2,-1-b]-(1,4)-oxazine], etc.} and (B) a precursor of an organic silicon polymer (preferably hydrolyzed product of gamma-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane, etc.) and if necessary (C) a hardener (prefer ably aluminum acetylacetonate, etc.) preferably in a volatile dispersion medium, (2) applying the solution to the surface of a molded article at a thickness of preferably >=0.1mu, and (3) heat-treating the coating layer.
