PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection of a word beginning even if it is a voiced sound plosive by shortenning the preventing period of a word ending disconnection by a word ending disconnection preventing circuit when the output of a voiced wound plosive detection circuit is obtained. CONSTITUTION:A voice sound plosive detection circuit 31 compares, at a comparator 37, a extraction signal level that is rectified, smoothed and detected at a circuit 36 by extracting the featured spectrum of the buzz part of the voiced sound plosive form a receiving input at a BPF 35 with a reference level that is set up at a circuit 34 according to a receiving level which is formed at a rectifying/smoothing circuit 33, and the voiced sound plosive is detected securely after the elimination of noise influence. Thus, when a voiced sound plosive signal is outputted form the circuit 31, the word ending disconnection period is shortened by controlling a switching means that alters the discharging characteristic of a word ending disconnection preventing circuit 30. Thereby, the receiving signal becomes natural and the word beginning disconnection is not occurred without damaging a transition part information including an information that represents the characteristic of the voiced sound plosive.
