PURPOSE:To restore easily the local information of a terminal by utilizing an additional information occupied area that exists in every signal format of an SUSP signal and a RES-ACK siganl, sending the local information like a display information, etc. to a station side and asking the station to keep the local information. CONSTITUTION:So that the giving and receiving of the local information, for example, the display information just before a suspension is executed only by the giving and receiving with the station, no hindrance occurs in an opposite terminal and during the suspension, the giving and receiving of data is not executed. Also, a communication protocol is the same with a general protocol. The remarkable point is as follows. (1) to transfer the SUSP signal that requests the suspension of the communication including the display information just before the suspension to the station side, (2) to keep the display information temporarily at the station side during the suspension and (3) to return and re-display the RES-ACK signal that shows the understanding of the restart request of the communication including the display information stored temporarily. Although it is necessary to keep a memory area that keeps the display information temporarily, there is no disadvantageous points from the technical or economical point of view.
