Intermediate steering shaft of a steering gear

An intermediate steering shaft of a steering gear comprises a first shaft component with a central bore and a second shaft component which is inserted into the central bore of the first shaft component through a first rubber coupling. One end of the second shaft component engages with a base component of a shaft articulation fork, attached to the first shaft component, via a second rubber coupling. In the base component of the shaft articulation fork on the first shaft component a bore is formed for engagement with one end of the second shaft component, which bore penetrates the base component completely in an open fashion.
