<p>A shield which is substantially opaque to electromagnetic radiation is made by connecting together pieces, e.g. webs (11A, 11B) or strips, of metallized plastic fabric or other sheet-form metallized flexible shielding material. The pieces are placed in overlapping relation with at least one of the overlapping portions (11A', 11B') formed of a fluid-permeable shielding material. The overlapping shielding portions are joined together by an electrically conductive glue.</p> |
