A soil working machine (K) to be coupled with a tractor, having implements (7), which may be driven by a tractor power take-off shaft, more particularly a rotary hoe or a rotary harrow, possibly having an attached auxiliary implement (D), and a transportation device for transporting the machine (K), by means of which the machine (K) can be coupled with the tractor in a position rotated through 90 degrees relative to the operating position, and which, in respect of the transportation position, comprises at one end, namely the towbar end of the machine (K), a towbar (2), and in the region of the other end, namely the wheel end of the machine (K), a detachable pair of wheels (3), which is provided solely for the purpose of transportation, characterised in that, measured in the direction of operation (F'), the length of the machine (K) including a possible auxiliary implement (D), which may be retracted, is equal to or only slightly less than the maximum permissible transportation width, the pair of wheels (3) is arranged behind the wheel end of the machine (K), and a mounting (54) for the pair of wheels may retract or slide upwards into an inoperative position, such that the width of the machine (K) in the operating position is reduced. |
