发明名称 HOT EXTRUSION METHOD OF TI-6AL-4V ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the product of excellent strength, ductility, stiffness and surface quality by subjecting the billet of Ti-6Al-4V alloy having grain shaped + needle shaped structure to hot extrusion work at the limited temp. CONSTITUTION:Excellent product is obtd. without almost causing the dies wear by performing an extrusion work at the work temp. of >=850 deg.C-<=960 deg.C and using the billet of the Ti-6Al-4V group alloy having the structure of grain diameter alpha + needle shape (alpha+beta). However when the hot extrusion is performed at the temp. exceeding 960 deg.C of the work temp. it is feared that the extruding material exceeds a transformation point by the accumulation of the work heat. On the other hand when the work temp. is too low the load onto the hot extrusion mill becomes bigger and there is a case of an extrusion impossible.
