PURPOSE:To provide the titled material capable of recording by a simple device and without generating a sticking phenomenon, by providing a thermal recording layer comprising a particulate thermoplastic resin having a specified minimum film-forming temperature (MFT), a dye or pigment, a fluoro resin and a water- soluble resin, on a base. CONSTITUTION:The thermal recording layer comprising a particulate thermoplastic resin having an MFT of 80-150 deg.C, a dye or pigment, a fluoro resin and a water-soluble resin is provided on the base. A polymer or a copolymer in the state of an emulsion is used as the particulate thermoplastic resin. A monomer capable of raising the MFT, such as acrylic acid, and a monomer capable of lowering the MFT are used in an appropriate combination as monomers for the polymer or copolymer. The particulate resin, the water-soluble resin, the dye or pigment and the fluoro resin are suitably used in a ratio of about 1:0.1-9:0.01-5:0.1-5. The base is preferably a water-resistance material. |
