PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of raw material powder grains to a seal weld zone to be welded by an electron beam and to prevent the generation of a weld defect by disposing metallic or non-metallic powder grains or fibers separate from the raw material powder grains for lining into a thin layer state to the part near the weld zone. CONSTITUTION:The powder and granular or fibrous body of the metal consisting of the same compsn. as the compsn. of a member (case 2, base metal 1) to be welded or the compsn. approximate thereto or the non-metal such as CaO is preliminarily put near an aperture 7 to be subjected to seal welding, for example, right under a cap 4. In other words, the powder and granular or fibrous body of the metal or non- metal which does not melt during prescribed hot isotropic pressurization treatment and is harmless even when incorporated into the weld zone in the stage of welding is made into the thin layer and is preliminarily placed to the above-mentioned part. Then there is the metal or non-metal which dose not hinder the welding right under the aperture 7 even if the lining raw material 3 is sucked through the aperture 7 to be welded in order to evacuate the inside and only such metal or non-metal is sucked and attracted near to the aperture 7. The good seal weld zone 5 is thus formed in electron beam welding.
