<p>The device for the locking of containers is provided in two forms of execution: the alternative ''A'' for edged containers; the alternative ''B'' for round containers. The device for the locking of containers concerns in general containers having covers (5) or doors (5). The mechanism of the device is simply screwed, nailed or stuck under the cover (5) or the door (5). A hole is drilled through the cover or the door (5) in order to introduce a key for the safety lock (6) and besides there is provided an opening (7, 2) for a wrench for a hollow socket head screw or for a tube wrench (7, 2). The hollow socket head screw wrench (7, 2) or a tube wrench represents two alternatives. The operation of the closure (2, 1 + 2, 2) is the same whether a hollow socket head screw wrench (7, 2) or a tube wrench (7, 2) is used, and is done by rotating the closure (2, 1) or (2, 2) with one wrench or the other. In the ''A'' closure (2, 1), the fingers (1, 1) penetrate into the container wall (3) when it is closed with (7, 2). In the case where the container wall is not thick enough, it is the alternative ''B'' which is mounted. The operation of the closure (2, 2) differs from that of the closure (2, 1) in that the former has rigid lugs (1, 2) and the closure (2, 1) has movable fingers (1, 1).</p> |
