The cleaning device for the valves, pistons and filling cylinders of a filling device includes a device for lowering the filling valves out of their chambers and lowering the pistons out of the metering cylinders, and a spraying device by means of which cleaning liquid is sprayed onto the parts exposed in this manner. After cleaning, the components can be slid, by means of a relative movement of the container, the valve chambers and the metering cylinders, towards the valves and pistons in one direction and then back into the operating position in the other direction.
