PURPOSE:To check the occurrence of a difference between the desired steering angle and the actual steering angle and improve an operating sensation ever so better, by increasing a degree of operation load on a steering wheel when the said difference occurs. CONSTITUTION:In case of steering control over front wheels 3F, the desired steering angle theta detected by a potentiometer 10 installed in the side of a steering wheel and the actual steering angle theta0 detected by a potiometer R1 installed in the side of steering front wheels both are inputted into a control unit I. With this control unit I, a difference D=theta-theta0 between these steering angles is calculated, and this difference D is compared with the specified angle, then according to the compared result, a solenoid valve 9F is controlled for selection, thus these front wheels 3F are steered in both directions till the difference D comes to nothing. And, when the difference D is made to be without the specified range, a solenoid brake 17 is operated by the control unit I whereby operation load in a steering wheel is increased to some extent. In case of steer ing control over rear wheels 3R, it is also carried out in the same manner. |
