MANUFACTURE OF SINTERED ORE

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the sintering velocity an to attain the increase of the productivity by providing a hot air feeder between a raw material introducing apparatus and in ignition furnace and preheating uniformly the raw material. CONSTITUTION:In a continuous sintering machine, a hot air feeding plate 1 parallel to both a base plate of a sintering pallet and the lengthwise direction of the sintering machine is provided to the inside of a packed layer 4 of the introduced raw material between a surge hopper 2 and an ignition furnace 3. The injection holes of hot air are bored in the downward direction and the advancing direction on the feeding plate 1 and the raw material is uniformly preheated by feeding the hot air through a conduit. Thereby the productivity is increased by preheating and drying the packed layer 4 before the ignition and improving the air permeability.
