NEW MATERIAL:1,4-Dihydropyridine derivative of formula I (R is lower alkyl; n, m are integers of 1-3, respectively) or its acid adduct. EXAMPLE:2-[1-(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)piperazin-4-yl]ethyl methyl 2,6- dimethyl-4-(m-nitrophenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate. USE:Hypotensor, coronary vasodilator, cerebral vasodilator, peripheral vasodilator. PREPARATION:For example, the reaction between a compound of formula II, a compound of formula III and a compound of formula IV gives a compound of formula I.
