PURPOSE:To make it possible to simultaneously and independently test a large number of condenser cylinders without using a large tank, by independently receiving a plurality of condensor cylinders in a T-shape metal tank and connecting the same through an insulating spacer to perform a test. CONSTITUTION:The electric test of a condenser cylinder 5 consists of a voltage resistance test and a corona test and, in both tests, high voltage is applied between a main conductor 4 and earth. At the time of the voltage resistance test, both conductor 13 attached to a tank 1 and a lid 3 are connected to earth and voltage is applied between the upper and lower electrodes of the condenser cylinder 5. At the time of the corona test, corona meters are connected not only between the tank 1 and earth but also between the conductor 13 and earth to make it possible to independently measure coronas between the electrodes of the condenser cylinder 5 and between the condenser cylinder and earth. By electrically insulating each tank as mentioned above, a large number of condenser cylinders can be simultaneously and independently tested and a large tank is made unnecessary.
