EPICONDYLIC BANDAGE

The epicondylic bandage is essentially comprised of a sleeve (10) made of elastic fabric or knitted material surrounding the elbow joint, comprising a support plate (12) which is relatively rigid at the location corresponding to the epicondyle. The support plate is pressed against the arm by a belt (13) surrounding the latter in the peripheral direction. With a rigid support plate (12), the pressure is highly concentrated at its middle, while a flexible plate (12) conforms to the contour of the arm and the pressure is distributed on a larger surface.
