PURPOSE:To enable an ink to be dried in a short time in high-density printing by using an ink jet printing ink and enable rapid printing, by providing a film comprising a mixture of a water-soluble cellulose and polyvinyl pyrrolidone on at least one side of a transparent base. CONSTITUTION:The base is preferably a transparent plastic film, and a suitable thickness thereof is ordinarily 25-200mum. The water-soluble cellulose is prepared by substituting the -OH group of cellulose by another radical to impart water-soluble nature, and polyvinyl pyrrolidone preferably has a molecular weight of 10,000-1,000,000. The weight ratio of the water-soluble cellulose to polyvinylpyrrolidone is preferably 85:15-15:85, in view of drying property of an ink. The film is provided on the base by a coating means such as gravure coating, bar coating, reverse roll coating and knife coating, in a dried thickness of preferably 1-20mum, particularly, 2-15mum. |
