<p>In a method for deinking waste paper, the deinking of the waste paper is effected with a conventional deinking agent and an accelerator comprising a salt of a polymer selected from: (1) (meth)acrylic acid polymer, (2) maleic acid polymer, (3) a copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid and maleic acid, (4) a copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid (M1) and (meth)acrylic ester (M2), (5) a copolymer of maleic acid (M1) and (meth)acrylic ester (M2), and (6) a copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid (M1), maleic acid (M2) and (meth)acrylic ester (M2), the polymers (1), (2) and (3) each having an average molecular weight of 10,000 or less, the polymers (4), (5) and (6) each having a monomer ratio (M1/M2) of 1 to 49.</p> |
