In a device for holding at least one foil roll, for example a roll of cling film or aluminium foil roll, and for taking off pieces cut off from the foil, having a housing with a fixed housing part and a folding cover which is arranged on the front and behind which the foil roll is suspended, and having a cutter carriage which is displaceably guided transversely to the housing and to the foil width and by means of whose cutter device a tab drawn off from the foil can be cut off outside the foil roll, and having a device which holds the foil tab in the range of action of the cutter carriage, the cutter carriage (16; 36; 56) and its guide (12, 12') are joined to the folding cover (10; 10'), and the folding cover (10; 10') and the fixed housing part (5; 50) have interacting clamping parts (29, 30; 29'; 40; 58, 58', 59, 59', 60, 61) which together represent the device which holds the foil tab (28; 38). <IMAGE> |
