PURPOSE:To attain the accurate transfer of data with no omission of the head part of data by storing previously the first one byte of the data in a register set separately and processing the data at and after said byte through a CPU. CONSTITUTION:An interface 12 is provided between a system bus 11 and a floppy disk control part 10. When data are written first on the part 10, both the track and sector numbers are sent to the part 10. At the same time, the first one byte of the data to be written on the part 10 stored in a register RO from a CPU 1. The data of one byte is sent to the part 10 via a gate G1. An interruption is applied to the CPY 1 after a designated sector is detected by the transmission of the sector number. Then the data following the first byte are sent directly to the part 10 from the CPU 1 via a gate G2. When data are read out of the part 10, the first one byte of the data is stored in a register R1. The data following the first byte are read by the CPU 1 via the gate G2. Then the data of the first byte is read.
