发明名称 FULLY AUTOMATIC WELDING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To set exactly relative positional relations and to execute fully automatically the entire welding process by fitting successively and automatically the 1st work and 2nd work to a fitting means provided to a welding machine. CONSTITUTION:A robot 14 holds the 1st work 10 by means of a work chuck 30 and moves upward an arm 26 so as to ascend up to the height between the upper and lower electrodes of a welding machine 18. The robot 14 swivels the arm 26 and turns an arm 28 in succession thereto to carry the work 10 to the intermediate position of the upper and lower electrodes, then the robot stops moving the arm. A column 24 is lowered, by which the work 10 is lowered and the 1st hole 10a thereof is fitted onto the projection of the lower electrode. The work 10 is fixed by the chuck 30 and the projection in this state. The shaft contained into the hollow rod 46 of a nut feeder 16 advances to fit the nut held to the shaft end to the projection. The upper electrode is then lowered to bring the work 10 into press contact with the nut and the work is resistance-welded. The robot 14 detaches the welded work 10 and the nut from the projection when welding at three points of the work is completed in the above-mentioned way.
