<p>The safety stop for wood working machines, particularly milling machines, comprises a first and a second stop plate (10, 12) arranged on either side of the tool (14) in a common plane, leaving a slot (16) for the passage of the tool (14) and provided with stop rods (32) extended in parallel to each other when spanning the slot (16). In order to provide a work unit which is comprised of elements that can not be lost and which may be set in operation without using tools, the stop rods (32) are incorporated in the first stop plate (10) so that they may be introduced into grooves (30) of the second stop plate (12) from grooves (30) provided in the first plate.</p> |
