Protection and visibility increasing device intended to be fitted onto concrete lane separators situated on a road or motorway, which separators are of the type formed by sliding shuttering machines, the apparatus being characterized in that it is formed of at least one protection and visibility-increasing channel (2) fitting on to the upper part (3) of the separator (4), the cross-section of the profile of the channel (2) being of a shape corresponding to the shape of the upper ridge of the concrete lane separator (4).
