The present Application in Addition is based on the strict separation of the chemical store heat pump into drive part, heating part and (passive) chemical store according to the parent application. It is characterised in that the heating part is now composed of a "chemical engine" (a term used in accordance with the ALEFELD classification) for producing mechanical work and of a mechanically driven compression heat pump, preferably with air as refrigerant (cold-gas compression heat pump). The chemical engine which, according to Figure 1, is built up from a vaporiser, absorber, vapor engine and heat bridge, utilises the chemical exergy stored in the store for driving the compression heat pump.
