<p>Convertible airplane of which the wing (1), the rear section of the fuselage (3) and the empennage (4) are foldable about the air frame (2) and behind the pusher propeller (6) in order to obtain the size of a motor vehicle or a big motorcycle. The engine (84) drives either the wheel(s) (7) or the propeller (6), the driving of one preventing the driving of the other, the transmission comprises a reverse gear, an additional sound damping is provided for road and urban utilization. The air frame (2) bears and is fixed on the wing (1) which substantially carries the air frame, the centering as well as the incidence being adjustable. The profile of the wing (1) modifiable in flight, enables to perform short takes-off and landings and a high cruising speed. Floats, skis and a winch complete its polyvalence. The wide variety of its professional or recreational applications are those of a private car, a private plane and the combination of the two.</p> |
