PURPOSE:To enable the draw of a tension roller to be controlled properly and accurately by comparing the actual draw value computed by an arithmetic device with the set draw value allowing the resultant to be fed back to a PI control so as to control the responsible drive motor. CONSTITUTION:A manipulated variable due to a PI control is calculated, in order to obtain the revolving speed of a draw generating motor, a conversion is made based on the manipulated variable obtained by use of the constructive mode of a machinary system used. Namely, the draw value K is represented by a ratio of the circumferential speed between a printing cylinder 34 and a cooling cylinder 32 allowing the revolving speed of the motor 36 to be obtained. And the actual draw value K for the cooling cylinder 32 is calculated based on the output from encoders 18a and 18b where the draw value represents the actual ratio of the circumferential speed because the actual diameter of both the printing cylinder and the cooling cylinder is inputted. Thus, this configuration enables the draw for the cooling cylinder to be controlled properly and accurately where the cooling cylinder transfers a web with the stated tension force maintained through the printing cylinder in an rotary press. |
