PURPOSE:To improve the durability and to simplify the maintenance of the piping, the conduit and the terminal machineries by providing a pipe for controlling flow in and out of fluid to a cushion section provided in the body. CONSTITUTION:A piston 3 associated with a disc 2 and a cushion section 4 are provided in the body 1, while the opposite ends of the body are threaded to facilitate piping. The fluid will flow from the upper portion to the lower portion. Upon stoppage of flow, the pressure at the lower portion will exceed temporarily over that at the upper portion because of the inertia of fluid. Assuming the area of disc 2 is S1 while the area at the lower portion of piston is S2, differential force between F2XS2 and F1XS1 will function onto the piston 3 to move it upward. Here, the flow of fluid from the body of the cushion section 4 to the outside is controlled thus to control the moving speed of piston. |
