PURPOSE:To attenuate a radiation noise by forming a loop of a metal plate to become a parallel loop with a field winding. CONSTITUTION:A commutator motor has a field core 10 wound with a field winding 11, a rotor core wound with a rotor winding, brackets 12a, 12b having bearings for pivotally supporting a rotor shaft 14 coupled with the rotor core, a commutator and a brush. The winding 11 is coated by the brackets 12a, 12b, which are formed of insulating materials in a U-shape and secured to both sides of the core 10. In this case, a metal plate 13 formed in a loop shape is engaged with the outer periphery of the brackets 12a, 12b on the outer periphery of the core 10 to have a parallel loop with the winding 11. The shaft 14 is penetrated at the both ends through the plate 13. Thus, a radiation noise due to a spark can be absorbed and attenuated by the plate 13. |
