发明名称 CHARGING METHOD OF CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To properly charge a cell with electricity by rapidly effecting initial charging while intermittently effecting final charging for a prescribed period of time until cell voltage reaches a prescribed value when the cell is charged. CONSTITUTION:Commercial source voltage Vac supplied from an input terminal 1 is applied to a cell 6 to be charged via a transformer 2, an ordinary-close switch 4, and a cell connecting terminal 5 for effecting ordinary charging. With such arrangement, a voltage comparator circuit 7 is connected to a wiring path located between the switch 4 and the terminal 5, and a rapid charging reference voltage generator circuit 8 is connected to said circuit 7. a temperature signal is inputted into said circuit 8 for correcting generated voltage. In such a manner, reference voltage Vb of the circuit 8 and cell voltage Va are compared with each other in the comparator circuit 7, and when a condition Va>Vb is achieved, a timer 9 connected to the comparator 7 is operated for controlling the switching of the switch 4 by making use of an ordinary-open switch 10 and an osciallation circuit 11. Namely, the switch 4 is intermittently conducted at the time of final charging for uniformly charging micro-cells of the cell considered to be equivalent in series-parallel connection.
