PURPOSE:To obtain the titled decorative sheet having an uneven pattern and excellent surface hardness and color developing effect, by applying a specified pigmented paint to the surface of a bead-foamed styrene resin sheet to dissolve part of the resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a bead-foamed styrene resin sheet (A) having a thickness of 20-100mm and an expansion ratio of 35-75 is coated with a pigmented paint (B) obtd. by mixing a colorant with a solvent (e.g. benzene or acetone) capable of easily dissolving the styrene resin, in a coating rate of 40g/m<2> and the coated sheet is dried at 60 deg.C for 10min. Alternatively, a pattern is formed on the sheet by using a paint or ink (C) contg. a solvent which does not dissolve the resin, and the paint B is applied to the whole surface of the sheet A and dried in a similar manner to that described above to dissolve part of the sheet A, thus forming an uneven pattern.
