PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an entirety and to enhance the accuracy and the reliability of detecting a rotation by forming either one of a rotor and a rotary member for detecting the rotation in a bottomed cylindrical shape, and containing it in a container to enclose the other. CONSTITUTION:A motor 6 having a rotor and a rotary member 7 for detecting a rotation are respectively mounted on the same rotational shaft 1, and contained in one containers together with detecting means 8. In this case, a rotary member 7 is formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape, disposed to enclose a motor 6 including the rotor or formed at a rotor 61' of the motor 6 in a bottomed cylindrical shape, and disposed to enclose a rotary member 7' and detecting means 8'. The rotation detecting means can use an optical detector, a magnetic detector or a resolver. |
