PURPOSE:To prolong the life of cutting edge and to make chips discontinuous by providing a lot of cutting edges on the periphery of the cutter body equipped to the body of a captioned device in the state of capability of being rotated in a device of removing projections in the interior of a pipe with the device inserted in the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A disk shaped cutter body 13 equipped with a number of cutting edges 12 on the outer periphery section is supported by the body 11 of a device at liberty of rotation in slant, and a worm wheel 15 is provided to the supporting shaft 14 of the cutter body to be meshed with a work 17. In addition, the device 11 is equipped with a drive motor 19 provided with an output gear 18. And the output is transmitted from the output gear 18 to the cutter body 13 through an intermediate gear 20, a transmission gear 16, the worm 17, and the worm wheel 15. If the projections 2 in a pipe are cut by this device, chips becomes so discontinuous that chip discharger may be automated by using air blow or the like. And because the cutter is provided with many cutting edges, the life of blade is prolonged. |
