A switch comprising a cylindrical housing, actuator means (51-55) disposed at one end of the housing for contacting an object to be sensed by the switch, plunger means (31-35) slidably housed within the housing for receiving a displacement by the actuator means, and switching means (21-25) associated with the plunger means for switching a circuit in accordance with the actuation by the plunger means, said means actuator means including a conical supporting member (52) tiltably engaged with a flange member (14) formed in said one end of the housing.
