PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of elimination of recording information due to a rudimentary operation miss, by forming a recording medium housing vessel into such constitution as making its setting operation impossible unless a shade plate having a handle part is completely attached to a vessel body capable of housing the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A shade plate 29 of a vessel body 25 housing a recording medium comes into a state of being fully opened as stepped pins 28a and 28b are engaged with holes 30a and 30b of a moving plate 26 if the moving plate 26 is energized by an energizing member 37. So, when a plate operating member 38 is pressed in the opposite direction to energizing force, the engagement is released free whereby the shade plate 29 is separable from the vessel body 25 via a handle part 27. Inversely, when the shade plate 29 is attached to the vessel body 25 and it is made into a state of being fully closed, simultaneously these holes 30a and 30b of the moving plate 26 are engaged with these stepped pins 28a and 28b, and thereby the shade plate 29 is locked to the vessel body 25. With this constitution, since the shade plate is unseparable from the vessel body via the handle part 27 unless shading is over so that elimination of recording information due to a rudimentary miss is preventable.
