In a clamping table for work on a conveyor belt of a belt conveyor system for which clamping table there are provided at least one belt tensioning machine, which, with the aid of an arrangement consisting of a drive and a plurality of drums, makes possible a power transmission at one conveyor belt end and a work platform which has a table top and a platform frame which interacts with the machine frame of the drum arrangement in one unit, it is provided according to the invention for the work platform to be subdivided into a plurality of elements which have a three-dimensional support structure made of steel profile sections connected rigidly together at their ends, and are covered on at least one main side of the support structure, and for the support structures of the elements assigned to one another by their contacting sides to be connected together with the aid of detachable connections at the support structures of the platform structure and for the cover plates to be placed together to form the table top.
