The invention relates to a fabric made of polyester, which is intended especially for pennants, flags, banners, etc. The warp and weft threads consist of semi-matt fibre yarn or staple fibres and have a yarn fineness of Nm 34 in warp and weft. The thread density in the warp and weft directions is 18 per cm in each case. A pennant or the like consisting of such a fabric waves out well, allows high-contrast imprints to be made and has a long lifetime or useful life.
