<p>The heat pump for water and/or room heating has a compressor (1) driven by a motor (6) with the compressor in series with an evaporator (2). The output side of the evaporator coil is connected by an expansion valve (7) to one end of a condenser (3) in parallel with the evaporator coil. Both the compressor and the condenser are contained inside an insulating housing (5) with the compressor eneclosed by the condenser coil, the evaporator being outside the housing. In an alternative design, two compressor are in series inside the housing, each enclosed by a coil of a double coil condenser.</p> |
