PURPOSE:To prevent a carridge from shaking or being displaced by extermal impact or the like by mounting a balancer interlocking with the carridge though a connecting belt, and a guide which moves the carridge and the balancer in opposite directions by guiding the connecting belt. CONSTITUTION:Supposing that an impact is applied in the direction of the arrow A from outside, acarridge 11 and a balancer 13 will be guided by guide lods 3 and 12 respectively and almost slide toward the arrow A. As the two are, however, connected with a connecting belt 14, and as the total weight of the carridge 11, an arm mounted on the carridge 11 though a screw hole 11A and a magnetic head corresponds to the weight of the balancer 13, the movement of the carridge and the balancer will be set off by the connecting belt. Therefor, the displacement of the carridge 11 in the direction of the arrow A can be prevented.
