摘要 PURPOSE:To execute cooling and insulation by the same medium, and to obtain a stable cooling effect by the small-sized device by converting the medium having excellent insulating property into a gas-liquid two phase flow having superior cooling efficiency, blowing the medium off and evaporating it by means of an evaporator. CONSTITUTION:SF6 gas in a pressure vessel 4 flows into a compressor 7 through a low-pressure piping 6. The SF6 gas flowing out to the compressor 7 is compressed under constant entropy to increase its pressure. Since the temperature of the SF6 gas is elevated at that time, the SF6 gas is cooled by means of a cooler 8, and stored into a gas tank 9. The high-pressure low-temperature SF6 gas from the gas tank 9 is introduced to expansion valves 3 through a high-pressure piping 5, and the pressure of the gas is reduced. The SF6 gas is changed into the state of the gas-liquid two phase flow when it passes through the evaporators 2, the SF6 gas turned into the gas-liquid two phase flow heat-absorbs the calorific value of a thyristor element 1 by means of the evaporators 2, is evaporated and is filled to the periphery, and the thyristor element 1 and the evaporators 2 are insulated.
