METHOD OF CULTIVATING YEAST

PURPOSE:To accumulate a large amount of glutathione in a mold of yeast and to obtain the yeast having high content of glutathione, by cultivating the yeast in a medium containing a specific aromatic amino compound. CONSTITUTION:A medium of a yeast is blended with preferably about 100ppm total amounts of one or more of (A) p-aminobenzoic acid, (B) m-aminobenzoic acid and (C) p-aminoacetopheone and the yeast is cultivated, to give the aimed yeast.
