PURPOSE:To facilitate the handling of the group of switches and on the one hand, to facilitate the constitution, by a constituting the group of switches in a part of a camera side plate and exposing it to the extent that is required only in case of a need with a cover. CONSTITUTION:A camera side section has a group of switches 12 covered normally by a cover 11. The group of switches 12 is composed of a switch section 13 and a display section 14, further a joint piece 16 installed in a camera side plate 15 is jointed to a joint section 21 of the cover 11. Now, when a force is given so that the cover 11 is shifted in the direction of an arrow A, the joint between the joint piece 16 and the joint section 21 is released, and the cover 11 is shifted until the joint piece is jointed to the joint sections 22 and 24. By this, a part of the group of switches 12 is exposed. At this time, by using the switch section 13 and the display section 14, the sound recording, reproduction, switching, etc. can be performed. Here, if the cover is shifted in the direction of an arrow B, the group of switches 12 is in the covering condition again by the cover 11.
