PURPOSE:To carry out an efficient measurement by allowing a yaw angle of core-slider to change continuously so as to set a head floating center to a rotation center of rotary jig for fitting the head. CONSTITUTION:Both base 21 and stage 22 are fixed by a pin 23 and its stage rotates centering around the pin 22. Furthermore, the floating center of magnetic disk head 7 is fixed to the state 22 by screws after setting to a center of its pin 23. A spring-arm spacer 20 is fixed to the stage 22 and allows it to proceed directly to a radial direction of a glass disk 11 as it is and also allows the magnetic disk head 7 to position at a location of glass disk 11 and will measure a levitated extent by an optical system L through rotating the glass disk 11. After then the stage 22 is rotated by a scale so as to permit the magnetic head 7 yaw angle at its location to be theta. Since the floating center of the magnetic head 7 is set to the center of pin 23 and the stage 22 rotates centering around this pin 23, it is possible to have the yaw angle theta of magnetic head, regardless of the glass disk 11 radial.
