PURPOSE:To achieve a higher operation efficiency of an operator and a higher accuracy measured data, by outputting operation procedures in voice at each step of measurement, preparation and operation. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is made up of an operation/measurement data recognition equipment A, a voice response control section B and a voice output section C. Then, when the power source of a material tester 1 is turned ON, a signal is outputted from an operation sensor 2 to be transmitted to the voice response control section B through a CPU5 and a memory 6. Syntaxes separated by a specified word or a unit phase are outputted from a voice pattern memory 8 and synthesized with a voice output controller 9 to be outputted in voice from a speaker 12. Thus, an operator carries out a testing operation based on a vocal indication thereby enabling a material test easily and quickly without fail.
