PURPOSE:Finely ground cho-hey-champo is spread thinly over a cloth, applied to the arch of the foot, wound with a bandage, and replaced after several days. It is effective to relieve constipation caused by ileus and to remedy the ileus. CONSTITUTION:Ileus which is a disease caused by the obstruction in a part of intestine and hardly curable even in hospital can be cured by the use of cho-hey-campo. Finely ground cho-hey-campo is spread thinly over a cloth, applied to the arch of the foot, wound with a bandage, and replaced after two or three days. The feeling of the full stomach is mitigated and the bowel move ment is stimulated thereby.
