<p>PURPOSE:To obtain full engagement of a friction clutch and prevent shock upon engagement of the friction clutch at starting, by baking a rotational speed on an input side of the clutch coincident with a rotational speed on an output side of the clutch when the latter reaches a predetermined speed that allows full engagement of the clutch. CONSTITUTION:A rotational speed of an internal-combustion engine 2 is controlled by a first control means 5 so as to be maintained at a target rotational speed. An engagement condition of a clutch 3 is controlled by a second control means 6 so that a vehicle 1 may be started in response to an amount of depression of an accelerator pedal AP detected by an acceleration detecting means 7. a first target rotational speed according to the amount of depression is set by a first setting means 8. After a rotational speed on an output side of the clutch 3 detected by a detecting means 9 reaches an optimum self rotational speed of the engine 2, the rotational speed is re-set as a second target rotational speed by a second setting means 10. The first and second target rotational speeds are selected by a selecting means 23, and the selected speed is fed to the first control means 5 to control the clutch 3 to be fully engaged at a stroke.</p> |
